Beevlio (“the App”) respects your privacy and is designed with a privacy-first approach. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Beevlio messaging application.

By installing or using Beevlio, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Overview

Beevlio is a default SMS messaging application that allows users to send, receive, organize, and manage SMS messages on their device. The app includes features such as smart categorization, AI message assistance, optional cloud translation, themes, and offline backup/restore.

            Key Privacy Principle: Beevlio is designed to operate primarily on-device and does not upload or store your SMS messages on our servers.
        

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information Stored On Your Device Only

Beevlio processes and stores the following data locally on your device:

SMS and MMS messages
Contact phone numbers and names (if permission granted)
Message categories (OTP, Bank, Personal, Offers, etc.)
App settings and preferences
Theme and personalization settings
Backup files created by you

This data remains on your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share it.

2.2 Information Sent to Third-Party Services (Feature-Based)

Some optional features send limited text data to secure third-party APIs only when you actively use those features:

AI Message Features (Optional): When you use smart compose, rewriting, or tone improvement, the message text is sent securely to an AI processing service. This is used only to generate the output and is not stored by Beevlio.

Cloud Translation (Optional): Selected message text is sent to a cloud translation provider only when you tap the translate action.

2.3 What We Do NOT Collect

We do NOT upload your SMS inbox to our servers.
We do NOT sell user data or build advertising profiles.
We do NOT track message content for marketing.
We do NOT record conversations externally.

3. Permissions Used

SMS Permissions: Used to send/receive and display conversations.
Contacts Permission: Used to show names and improve labeling.
Storage Permission: Used for creating and restoring offline backups.
Internet Permission: Used only for optional AI features, translation, and license verification.

            Note on Messaging: Beevlio sends SMS messages only when you choose to share a status or message. We do not send SMS automatically.
        

4. Backup & Restore

Backups are stored locally or in a cloud location of your choice. We do not receive your backup files; you maintain full control over your data.

5. Data Security

We use encrypted network calls for AI/translation features and emphasize local processing to ensure your data stays as private as possible. However, please remember that no method of internet transmission is 100% secure.

6. Ads and Tracking

Beevlio is an ad-free application. We do not use ad trackers or behavioral SDKs.
